Although Alaska yielded a lot of highlights, the excursion in Ketchikan was probably the most memorable.  We went on the "Deadliest Catch" tour, where the crew of the Aleutian Ballad took us out on the water and detailed the day-in-a-life of a crabber in Alaska.  The stories were amazing... the scenery was stunning... and the bald eagle encounter was beyond anything that I had witnessed or had taken part of.  The pictures of the eagles are posted on the "Birds" page... check them out!​​
