ONLINE AUCTION!

Bird's Eye Gallery is happy to present our online auctions page.  Our online auctions will feature some of our most sought-after work in one-of-a-kind sizes that will not be reproduced again.  These featured works will only be offered through auction, never to be produced in these special sizes (and / or medium) again!  
 
The online auction is a silent auction and the highest bidder at the close of the auction will be sent this one-of-a-kind piece after payment has been received.  If the first couple of auctions are successful, we will continue to conduct these auctions on a regular basis (most likely monthly).

For our FIRST auction series, we are holding TWO separate auctions. One piece will be for wildlife and the other is one of the artist's iconic landscapes.  After our introductory auction, each auction will be for ONE piece.

"Dance Moves"

Waved Albatross - Dance Moves

This image is one of my personal favorites.  "Dance Moves" displays this mating pair of Waved Albatrosses on the island of Española in the Galápagos Islands.  We had the luxury of spending a week in the Galápagos Islands filming and photographing many of the species of birds in their natural habitat without interaction with the humans visiting the islands.  The Waved Albatross were in mating season, which made this adventure particularly exciting!

These beautiful birds were abundant on the island.  Watching all of the mating pairs interact was definitely an experience.  However, catching this mating pair in the middle of their mating dance was the highlight.  As one bows, the other stands tall... and vice versa.  I caught this moment at the perfect time when one was looking at the other during the dance.

This image will be printed on the finest quality of aluminum sheet in the format of 48" (4 feet) by 72" (6 feet) over a 2 mm
